There had been a discussion on our Group page regarding moving back our time we meet to 6pm from 7pm. Without seeing this discussion, I booked this month’s meeting to 6pm. But, it’s not to late to change it.

Dan Harbison from the Portland Trailblazers is scheduled to speak on their Social Media efforts; but, his wife is expecting their baby any week now, so he could cancel at the last second! If that scenario plays out I don’t have a backup presenter, so if you’re interested in presenting something engaging and interesting to the group related to Social Media, please leave a comment and I’ll get everything arranged.
I believe the meeting will be recorded, so if you can’t attend we’ll post the video or audio online after the meeting.

Ok, not really, because that would be a little awkward, but it was great to see so many of you show up to Jax last night for our Social Media night. If this is your first time visiting portlandsocialmedia.com then feel free to subscribe to our RSS feed - I use Google Reader.
We also have a Google Group - the Portland Social Media Google Group. It’s easy to join, you just need an email address.
Our next meeting will be in March and we already have some great leads on new locations for the event - bigger and better. We’re hoping to get a projector and either a nice screen or a white wall, so if you’d like to talk about your blog, project, business or hobby, as it relates to social media, media, etc. just let us know.
